Product Description

Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) is a small growth factor containing 53 amino acid residues capable of stimulating the proliferation of both mesenchymal and epithelial cells. EGF and FGF-2 induce the proliferation of neural precursor cells isolated from specific regions of the embryonic and adult brain. Biological activities ascribed to EGF include epithelial development, angiogenesis, inhibition of gastric acid secretion, fibroblast proliferation, and colony formation of epidermal cells in culture.

Ⅲ型胶原蛋白，是人体皮肤、筋膜、肌腱中主要的胶原蛋白，与I型胶原蛋白比例为4比1。Ⅲ型胶原蛋白较细小，存在于表皮层和真皮层之间，称之为“婴儿胶原蛋白”,在婴儿时期含量高达80%，是维持皮肤弹性的重要蛋白质。微胶原层主要由Ⅲ型胶原蛋白构成，是指位于表皮层与真皮层之间的组织结构，是撑起表皮的关键，也是肌肤塌陷的第一步。人体无法通过自身合成产生Ⅲ型胶原蛋白。

Activation of Prekallikrein with Factor α-XIIa produces the enzymatically active Kallikrein. TGF-beta 2 (transforming growth factor beta 2) is one of three closely related mammalian members of the large TGF-beta superfamily that share a characteristic cysteine knot structure. TGF-beta 1, -2 and -3 are highly pleiotropic cytokines proposed to act as cellular switches that regulate processes such as immune function, proliferation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Each TGF-beta isoform has some non-redundant functions; for TGF-beta 2, mice with targeted deletion show defects in development of cardiac, lung, craniofacial, limb, eye, ear and urogenital systems . Human TGF-beta 2 cDNA encodes a 414 amino acid (aa) precursor that contains a 19 aa signal peptide and a 395 aa proprotein. A furin-like convertase processes the proprotein to generate an N-terminal 232 aa latency-associated peptide (LAP) and a C-terminal 112 aa mature TGF- beta 2.
