Transduced target cells will express a user-generated shRNA from the U6 promoter for the purpose of RNAi-mediated gene silencing. pLVX-shRNA1 Vector can be packaged into high-titer, replication-incompetent, VSV-G-pseudotyped lentivirus upon transfection into 293T cells, using the Lenti-X™ HTX Packaging System. The resulting lentivirus can then be used to transduce virtually any mammalian cell type.
