产品描述
Brefeldin A,简称BFA,一种常用的可逆性蛋白转运抑制剂,是一种真菌代谢产物,可破坏高尔基体的结构并抑制其功能,进而特异地阻断蛋白质从内质网(ER)向高尔基体(Golgi)的转运。BFA 可抑制coat proteins(如β-COP and ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF))与高尔基体的结合并抑制GDP-GTP交换。
Brefeldin A也常被用于抑制细胞因子等蛋白的分泌,并用于增强分泌蛋白的免疫染色检测。Brefeldin A可激活神经鞘磷脂循环(sphingomyelin cycle),还可诱导一些肿瘤细胞发生凋亡。
本品为溶于DMSO的BFA储存液,浓度为5 mg/mL,推荐使用浓度范围是1-50 μM,具体的最佳工作浓度请参考相关文献,并根据实验目的以及所用特定细胞和组织,进行优化。
