SAM分子
一种必要的化学物质
S-腺苷蛋氨酸(SAM-e、SAMe、SAM、AdoMet、腺苷蛋氨酸)于1952年由G.L.Cantoni在意大利发现。它由三磷酸腺苷(ATP)和蛋氨酸通过蛋氨酸腺苷转移酶制成。S-腺苷甲硫氨酸是大多数生物的关键代谢产物。它通过脱羧作用执行重要的转甲基化、转硫和氨基丙基化功能。
由于SAM是一种本质上不稳定的分子,其258-260nm的最大光密度不是一种吸收,因此测定其在各种生物流体和组织中的浓度一直是一项具有挑战性的任务。对于测定SAM的生物浓度以及监测其在体液、组织和细胞器中的变化和代谢途径,显然需要一种不需要昂贵仪器(LC、MS和组合)的简单、方便的方法。
SAM-e被认为对以下疾病有帮助:抑郁症、帕金森病、骨关节炎症状、肝病、肝内胆汁淤积症(尤其是妊娠期)、纤维肌痛、艾滋病相关脊髓病(一种与艾滋病相关的脊柱和神经疾病)。也有有限的研究参考了SAMe在以下情况下的作用:注意力缺陷多动障碍(ADHD)、月经前综合征(PMS)、月经前期烦躁障碍(PMDD)、慢性疲劳综合征(CFS)、心脏病、智力缺陷、多发性硬化症、痴呆症、Alzeimer病、肌腱炎、滑囊炎、脊髓损伤、,癫痫发作、偏头痛、慢性腰痛、铅中毒和衰老。
了解SAM作为营养补充剂每天使用的影响和后果也是至关重要的。它已被广泛用作治疗抑郁症、骨关节炎等疾病的非处方药。
